St. Padre Pio Vintage Italy T-Shirt

Padre Pio came to the small Capuchin friary of Our Lady of Grace in San Giovanni Rotondo in 1916 and stayed for 52 years. He bore the wounds of Christ from 1918 until his death and covered his hands with half-gloves. Crowds climbed the hill each morning for his 5 a.m. Mass, and he heard confessions for up to ten hours a day.

The design follows the pilgrims up the stone road to the friary church at dawn, with Padre Pio at the bottom of the hill, rosary in hand. Canonized in 2002. Feast day September 23.
