St. Joan of Arc France Vintage T-Shirt

Joan of Arc was seventeen when she rode into Orléans on April 29, 1429. The English had held the city under siege since October. By May 8 the siege was lifted. She was burned at the stake two years later, at nineteen, and canonized in 1920.

The design looks out over the Loire to the cathedral and the old stone bridge of Orléans, with Joan on horseback and her banner raised. Feast day May 30.
